Back Door (by blegg)

Time works wonders. But if it arrives inconveniently
with the knocking of guilt: we’re not at home.
In the heart’s cellar, sleepless, I find myself again
on the chaff of scorn, in time’s autumn maneuver.
(excerpt from poem by Ingeborg Bachmann, translated by Peter Filkins)

I enjoy reading, writing, and translating--especially poems. The energy that can exist between poems and associated visual art--poems based on visual images or visual images based on poems--is fascinating to me.
