Just Like Free Food, Only Better!

George Washington University’s newly-chartered Medieval and Early Modern Studies Institute (MEMSI) kicks off its spring 2009 program this Friday at 4pm with a talk by Prof. David Wallace of the University of Pennsylvania on conceptualizing literary history (1348-1400).  Wallace will present his lecture, “Writing After Catastrophe,” in the Ampitheatre (3rd floor) of  GWU’s Marvin Center.

Friday’s talk, as with others on the program, is open to the public. To keep up to date with MEMSI events, check their website.  And to the newest star on DC’s literary horizon–bono fortuna!
